Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards has matched three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade’s record for the most playoff games with 30 or more points before turning 25. Edwards’ performance in the current postseason helped the Timberwolves defeat the San Antonio Spurs 114–109 in Game 4 of their series.
After the game, Edwards has now reached the 30-point mark in 18 playoff games, the fourth most in NBA history. LeBron James leads the list with 30 such games, followed by Kobe Bryant (26) and Kevin Durant (22). Edwards and Wade are tied for fourth place with 18 games each.
In Game 4, Edwards was the top scorer of the night, recording 36 points, six rebounds, and two assists. The series against the Spurs is now tied at 2–2.
