The 2025/26 LaLiga EA Sports season is gearing up for a dramatic conclusion. Although FC Barcelona secured the league title this Sunday with a victory over Real Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou, there’s still plenty at stake in the domestic competition. Teams are fighting for survival or aiming to secure a spot in European competitions.
LaLiga has officially announced the kickoff times for Matchday 38, with most games taking place in a unified schedule. All matches will be played on Saturday, May 23, at 9:00 PM (CEST), except for the Villarreal vs. Atlético de Madrid clash, which is set for Sunday, May 24, at the same time.

Among the remaining battles, several European spots are still up for grabs, with numerous teams vying for a ticket to next season’s competitions. The fifth-place berth, which grants access to the Champions League, is still in play, as are the Europa League and Conference League positions. Many questions remain unanswered.
The biggest drama, however, revolves around the relegation fight. As many as nine teams are separated by just five points, from ninth to eighteenth place. This sets the stage for a tense finale on Matchday 38, with direct clashes like Girona vs. Elche deciding their future on the last day.
